Landjuweel, Ruigoord 2024 – Willow Portal’s Cosmic Leakage
We’ve built the willow portal to channel the cosmic leakage of Ruigoord into your body through all of the senses.
It was my pleasure to create a special musical journey into the depths of Saturday night with a blend of mesmerising electronica filled with scintillating vibrations, obscure textures, other-worldly melodies and subtle resonances rooted in the other side of consciousness.
To be honest, this might be one of my favourite sets I’ve ever played. Feeling free to not just play straight bangers, but delving into the more subtle and refined realms of electronic music and using that to create a different kind of blissed out energy on the dance floor, is an absolute blessing!
Ecstatic Dance – Estonian Midsummer – Tallinn
It was my honour to be invited to play the Midsummer Solstice in the beautiful Pirita Cloister ruins in Tallinn, Estonia. I can barely imagine a more suitable location to dance in tribute to the sun.
An open sky, surrounded by the ruined medieval walls: a place to stand with the movements of the past, and evoke them to dance into the future with us.
The perfect starting point for this musical journey was a psalm by Hildegard von Bingen, which I imagine to have been sung here since the cloister opened in 1407: Spiritus Sanctus Vivificans, a song that seems as much an ode to the sun as anything else. From there I wove together the old and the new from all the far flung reaches of the world, following the the lines of the beginning:
The Holy Spirit: living and life-giving,
the life that’s all things moving,
the root in all created being:
of filth and muck it washes all things clean—
out-scrubbing guilty staining, its balm our wounds constraining—
and so its life with praise is shining,
rousing and reviving
all.

This year we spun the Friday night of the Boogie Bos into a deep rave session for you all to enjoy.
Thank you Stefnitz for being such an amazing co-conspirator, and thank you for letting me host and program one of the nights of the awesome stage you put together for this year’s Landjuweel!
Ruigoord – Maanzin – Easter 2023
The first two tracks of this set were to accompany a heathenish ritual to awaken the springtides in our hearts, the rest an ecclectic rave journey going from techno to breakbeat and drum and bass.

Paradiso – 30 jaar DJ ISIS
DJ ISIS graced me with the honour of playing on her 30 year DJ jubilee in the Paradiso together with some veterans of the Amsterdam club scene and fresh talent with the likes of Eddy de Clerq, Martha van Straaten, Mozes and Krien.
